Christmas gift from Sainsbury’s Crosby
Sainsbury’s Crosby store has rounded off their year of support to Emmaus Merseyside by completing a winter collection and making a donation of £350.
Throughout 2017, Emmaus Merseyside has been a food donation partner of the Sainsbury’s Crosby store. We have collected surplus food on a weekly basis and these items have been used in our community kitchen to prepare fresh meals for our companions.
As an added kind gesture this Christmas, the team at the Sainsbury’s Crosby store prepared individual bags for our companions and presented Emmaus Merseyside with a voucher for £350.
“We are extremely grateful to Sainsbury’s for their generous support throughout 2017. The staff at the Sainsbury’s Crosby store have gone above and beyond to raise money and create gift bags for those who are supported at Emmaus Merseyside. We would like to say a massive thank you from all at our Sefton community.”
Sam Osborne, Community Manager at Emmaus Merseyside
