Emmaus Merseyside is an award-winning charity that offers a home, individual support, education, training and work opportunities to people who have experienced homelessness.

We have a purpose-built community building in Seaforth that is home to the people we support, known as Emmaus companions. Our community is home for up to 30 companions at any one time. Each person who joins us benefits from a package of tailored support and has their own room, as well as access to communal dining, catering, social, exercise, garden and training facilities.

Everyone living within our Emmaus community contributes to the best of their abilities in some way. This may involve cooking or cleaning within our community, tending to our garden, helping within our Charity Superstore or delivering and collecting furniture out on the vans. All of the money generated from our social enterprise is re-invested to sustain and support people living at our community.
