With the news dominated by Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to give you an update and let you know that we are doing everything in our power to ensure the well-being of our community and supporters.
Based on the latest advice from government, we have taken the difficult decision to close all three Emmaus Merseyside charity stores with immediate effect. This includes the Emmaus Merseyside Charity Superstore in Seaforth and our two Charity Re-Use Shops.
All collections and deliveries have also been suspended in order to keep everyone safe. We have been contacting all those who have a collection or delivery booked. If you haven’t heard from us already, we will contact you as soon as possible. We also ask that you do not drop off donations at any of our shops as they will all be closed.
Whilst we are concerned about the financial impact, the well-being of our companions, staff, volunteers, trustees, supporters and the local community is our number one priority. We will continue to monitor official guidance carefully and keep you updated on any changes. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns via [email protected]
Massive thanks for your continued support of Emmaus Merseyside. We hope that you, your family and friends stay safe and look out for each other during this difficult time.
The majority of the funds we need to survive are generated through our social enterprise. The temporary closure of our Emmaus Merseyside charity stores due to the COVID-19 situation poses a significant risk to our charity. We know it’s tough for everyone at the moment but any gift you can spare will help us get through this difficult time.
