This year we’re kicking things off with a fresh new menu at the Royal Oak! Introducing our Daily Specials menu, enjoy low-prices and a huge variety of dishes every day.
We’re super excited to be partnering with FareShare who saves surplus food from supermarkets and food companies and redistributes ingredients to us. When you choose a daily special dish you’ll be helping to reduce food waste and helping the planet!
All our daily specials are just £6 – we want to bring you food that is affordable and also nutritious. Food poverty and food insecurity is a growing problem in the UK, one which has only grown during the cost-of-living crisis. Our hope is that our affordable menu can help you enjoy a meal out, stress-free. Previous daily specials have included peri-peri Halloumi burgers and baked camembert.
Our One Pot Wonder scheme is also expanding and will be available on Wednesday and Thursday for just £2.50.

This Winter the Royal Oak is also open as a warm space for anyone who is struggling to heat their home or is facing social isolation. We welcome anyone into our cosy café and lounge for the day to work or relax.
