All proceeds from our house clearances go towards supporting vulnerable individuals, those at risk of homelessness, and people who are socially isolated across Suffolk.

What do we offer? 

We clear unwanted items and household waste from houses, offices and outbuildings. We aim to recycle and re-use as much as possible from house clearances, saving more waste from going to landfill and giving belongings a second-life in our charity shops.

At Emmaus Suffolk offer two clearances:

• Cherry Pick: Free of charge service where our team take items we can re-sell straight away. Perfect if you have a lot of good quality furniture to get rid of. If you have just a few bulk items you’d like us to collect, book a free donation collection here

• Full Clearance: Paid for service where our team will clear the house house and dispose of unusable items for you.

What do we charge?

Our full house clearances start at a charge of £400. After you get in touch with us, we will come and visit your property and calculate your quote.

When we make a quote we consider:

• The distance from our donation depot (The Dales, Ipswich)
• The driver & van costs
• How many items/rooms there are to clear
• The cost of disposing unsellable items
• The value of sellable items
