Emmaus doesn’t just make a difference to people’s lives, it also helps save the environment, by recycling and reusing as much as possible. We already recycle most items that are donated to us by selling them on, or upcycling them to create new items.

However, we wanted to take this a step further, and we are now very proud to stock a range of eco products. In all our shops you can now find cleaning products and toiletries, all sold packaging free, created by social enterprise SESI, and wax wraps, reusable face wipes and more, all created by our very own success story, J&D Eco Designs.

Refillable eco cleaning products and toiletries

Our shops now stock a range of eco cleaning products and toiletries, available as packaging free, refillable products. Simply bring along your own containers and fill up with the items you need. These products are supplied by SESI, a social enterprise based in Oxfordshire.

  • The products are vegan and biodegradable!
  • For fragrances, SESI don’t use ‘exotic’ plants, they’re determined to cut on carbon footprint where possible
  • Affordable prices so more people can enjoy these products, making the refill revolution a higher and wider environmental impact
  • SESI collect the large containers to clean and put back in circulation, making their operation truly zero waste from manufacturing to delivery

Hand-made, reusable eco products

We are proud stockists of a range of eco products designed and hand-made by J&D Eco Designs.

The range includes reusable facewipes, wax wraps, reusable sandwich bags, washable masks and more. Much of the fabric and material used to create these items has been donated to us and upcycled to create these reusable products.

J&D Eco Designs is the brainchild of two of our volunteers, Jude and Dominique, who met while volunteering here at Emmaus Suffolk, and have turned their love of all things sewing into a thriving business. Read all about their amazing success story here.
