Here at Emmaus Suffolk we understand that homeless people need more than just a hot meal and a bed for the night if they are to rebuild their lives. They need a home, a sense of purpose and the chance to regain their self-respect.
Every night there are estimated to be 4,134 rough sleepers in England. Last year, Emmaus communities were forced to turn away 197 homeless people, and put a further 138 on waiting lists because there simply weren’t enough rooms available.
With your help we can change people’s lives for the better. There are lots of ways to help us, so please do read on to see how you can get involved.
We are pleased to say that our shops will reopen on Wednesday 14th April. Our opening times will be 10am-4pm Wednesday – Saturday.
We will be operating COVID-safe shops, and ask all visitors to maintain social distance while shopping with us and wear a mask in all our shops, unless medically exempt.
We will be accepting donations at The Dales, Ipswich, on Mondays and Tuesdays between 10am and 3pm. We will not be accepting donations at any of our other shops.
