If you love cleaning and would like to gain some experience then this role may be for you. We get a wide range of donations coming through the door of our Furniture & Home Charity Warehouse on a daily basis, that need to be cleaned and polished ready for sale. Our Housekeeping Assistants help us to maintain a clean, tidy and presentable space for our customers, volunteers and staff.

Main Duties:

  • Sweeping, hoovering and mopping the floors
  • Dusting, wiping and polishing the furniture
  • Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and toilets to a good standard

Skills Required:

  • A positive & helpful attitude
  • Willingness to help clean and maintain a presentable space for customers, volunteers and staff

Experience Required:

  • No experience required
  • Any experience with cleaning would be useful

Time Commitment:

  • Monday – Saturday, 9am-5pm
  • We ask our Housekeeping Assistants to volunteer at least once a week


Training, Support & Benefits:

  • In-house housekeeping training required
  • Further optional training & support provided on-site & online through iHasco
