Our massive flagshop store in Hanley sells a huge range of quality second-hand furniture, plus brand new divan beds, mattresses and white goods.

Also on site is our Donation Station, where people can drop-off items to be resold in both our charity shops. If a donated piece of furniture is too large to fit in a car, we run a free furniture collection service in the local area.

We have free parking, and we’re open Monday to Saturday.

How to find us

The Furniture & Home Charity Warehouse is located on Josiah Wedgwood Street, just down from TGI Fridays (opposite Sofology and NCF Living) on Etruria Road, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent (ST1 5NT).

How our charity shops help

Funds raised at our two charity shops and our eBay store, help Emmaus North Staffs continue to tackle furniture poverty in the local area. Each year our charity partners with local councils and housing associations to offer free items to more than 800 households who are without access to essential furniture and appliances. We also recently partnered with children’s bed charity Zarach in launching its new Stoke-on-Trent hub supporting vulnerable local families with beds in a continuation of our Beds for Kids initiative. We continue working on plans to provide accommodation in Stoke-on-Trent, for people experiencing homelessness.

How to donate your unwanted things for us to sell

The Donation Station here at our Furniture & Home Charity Warehouse is the place to drop-off of donated items during shop hours. We would appreciate donations of items in resalable condition, including furniture, bric-a-brac, household goods, clothing, books, records, CDs, DVDs and more. We also offer a free furniture collection service in the local area. We can collect within a 10 mile radius of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent (ST1 5NT). Find out more about donating goods
