This Volunteers’ Week (1 – 7 June) our Stoke-based charity is taking a moment to thank our volunteers and also call on local people to join the team.
Our Furniture & Home Charity Warehouse and our Potteries Centre Emmaus shop – both in Stoke-on-Trent – specialise quality second-hand furniture, household goods and preloved clothing.
Our wonderful Emmaus North Staffs volunteers regularly give up their time to help us run the shops, including serving customers and sorting donated items for sale. We also have many other volunteer roles available, including helping out with our delivery van crew, maintenance, admin work, research, social media and eBay.
Volunteers are a really valued part of our team and we hope that more local people will come forward. We welcome people from all walks from life, whether they are students, retirees or indeed anyone who has some time to spare.
