To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Emmaus Suffolk is holding celebratory BBQs on the bank holidays Thursday 2 and Friday 3 June at our community café and venue The Royal Oak.

The family-friendly event will be a safe space to relax, meet people and enjoy delicious food cooked by our chef Colton.

Plus, there will be face-painting by the brilliant Kelly Will Paint You.

What’s on the menu

Our chef Colton will be cooking up a storm on the BBQ, with vegan and vegetarian options available.

Choose from a hotdog for £3 or a burger for £3.50. Ice-creams will be £1 each.

We’re also excited to announce that we’ll be selling our alcohol-free beer, created by the folks at Big Drop Brewery in Ipswich. Enjoy for £3.60 a can for craft lager or pale ale.

The details

The BBQs will be held on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 June between 12-4pm. Arrive at any time and say hello!

Please note that the event is weather-permitting and will not go ahead in the case of bad weather.
