Naturesave Trust has granted £2000 of funding to support our creative wellbeing hubs in Ipswich and Felixstowe.

The Naturesave Trust is funded by the activities of Naturesave Insurance, the UK’s leading ethical insurance provider for individuals, businesses, charities, and community groups.

The funding kindly provided by the trust will be used at creative upcycling hubs to purchase new resources including paint and craft materials. In the hubs, attendees transform unwanted furniture that would otherwise go to waste and create unique and bespoke pieces.

Our free-to-attend hubs provide a welcoming environment where attendees can get involved in creative upcycling projects, meet other people in their local community, and receive support from the Emmaus team.

Claire Staddon, our CEO shares “We’re incredibly grateful to Naturesave Trust for their support of our hubs. Upcycling is a very therapeutic activity for many of our hub attendees and, with the trust’s support, we can ensure we have quality resources for them to use. We have seen an increase in attendance across all our Hubs and this funding will be a real boost.”

We recently extended or popular Kids and Carers Hub based at their Community Café, The Royal Oak offering an extra session for local parents and children to come together and connect with other families. Find our full hubs timetable here
