A local Felixstowe couple has decided to celebrate their Civil Partnership by asking their friends and family to donate to Emmaus Suffolk, as their gift to the couple. Both Catherine and Jane have been long supporters of the charity and were thrilled to realise that Emmaus Suffolk’s newest Community Hub has opened every Wednesday morning in the Old Felixstowe community centre, just around the corner from where they live.
Jane and Catherine stated to their friends and family,
We are delighted that you are sharing in the celebration of our civil partnership & that you are generously supporting a local charity whose work is of real value to people in need of holistic help. Emmaus Suffolk supports those living in homeless situations in Suffolk providing more than just a bed but also a home, meaningful work & a sense of belonging.
