It’s a case of ‘out with the old and in with the new’ this New Year as we’ll be ceasing our Bulky Waste collections and launching a new House Clearance Service.
We’re excited to be launching this new service to provide an affordable and ethical alternative for residents needing a property cleared.
Our team will take care of everything, handling the process sensitively and treating items with care and respect. Not only that, but by choosing Emmaus North Staffs for a clearance means you are supporting vulnerable people by providing them with much-needed household items and support through our ongoing charitable work.
Bulky Waste collections service no longer provided by us
Meanwhile, we’ll be ceasing our chargeable Bulky Waste collections this month after providing this service for over a decade on behalf of two local councils.

House Clearances
By choosing Emmaus North Staffs to provide your house clearance service, you are helping people to help themselves out of homelessness and support the most vulnerable in our local North Staffs communities.
We offer two clearance services: A time-limited, free, ‘cherry pick’ service where we can visit for up to one hour and take as many reusable items as possible, leaving the rest to be sorted by the customer,
We also offer a full house clearance, and chargeable, service where we will remove all the items, as agreed during a site visit, for reuse or disposal. This includes items throughout the property, in the garage, in the loft, in the garden and in the shed.
This service is individually chargeable based on the size of the job; the volume of reusable items (which will keep the price down); the volume of items for disposal; and items such as fridges and freezers, due to the cost of disposal.
