We are thrilled that last year Emmaus North Staffs, along with two other esteemed charities, the Douglas Macmillan Hospice and Men Unite, received significant support from The Sentinel Golf competitions.
The culmination of the competitions took place at Newcastle Golf Club, where representatives from all three charities gathered for a heartwarming presentation night. With immense gratitude, we accepted a cheque for £500: a testament to the incredible funds raised during the competitions.
At the event, alongside Sentinel Golf committee members, we joined the winners of the Sentinel Cup and Sentinel Shield to express our appreciation for the remarkable contributions made. It was a memorable occasion, filled with joy and recognition of the tremendous impact that collective efforts can have on our community.
Vanda Gibbons, secretary of the Sentinel Golf Committee, shared the rich history and impact of The Sentinel Charity Golf Competitions. Since its establishment in 1977, this remarkable initiative has been a beacon of generosity, raising funds for local charities while providing an exciting and competitive platform for golf clubs.
We are incredibly grateful for the support and generosity extended to Emmaus North Staffs through The Sentinel Golf competitions. These funds will enable us to continue our mission of transforming lives and providing crucial support to those in need within our community.
