One of the most important parts of the Emmaus ethos is ‘solidarity’. This means working to help someone less fortunate than yourself.
Every Emmaus in the UK holds a solidarity day each year to raise funds for Emmaus International’s work supporting Emmaus projects in poorer parts of the world.
Emmaus International includes over 400 Emmaus groups, located in over 40 countries, working every day to help the most excluded and tackling the causes of poverty. Thanks to our generous supporters, this money will help Emmaus International to carry out its vital humanitarian work and campaigns across the world.
