Volunteers are an invaluable resource as they give us their time, dedication, skills and knowledge to support the work we do here at Emmaus Hertfordshire. Our volunteers work alongside staff and companions in a number of roles, front line retail jobs through to training and support of our companions. We have both public-facing and “behind-the-scenes” rolls available.
We can be flexible around the hours our volunteers work, and as well as helping to support a local charity, all volunteers 20% off items in our shops.
We’re looking for a volunteer join our friendly team and support the running of our online retail stores. This role will include:
- Sorting and organising clothing stock
- Using online selling platforms including eBay and Vinted
- Listing and promoting items for sale
Previous experience buying or selling on second-hand platforms is desirable!
