Volunteers are an invaluable resource as they give us their time, dedication, skills and knowledge to support the work we do here at Emmaus Hertfordshire. Our volunteers work alongside staff and companions in a number of roles, front line retail jobs through to training and support of our companions. We have both public-facing and “behind-the-scenes” rolls available.
We can be flexible around the hours our volunteers work, and as well as helping to support a local charity, all volunteers receive lunch in our community and 20% off items in our shops.
We’re looking for a volunteer to come on board as our Volunteer Coordinator to Support the recruitment, induction and training of Emmaus Hertfordshire volunteers.
- Support, motivate and monitor volunteers, offering advice and information
- Celebrate volunteering by organising group event and nominating volunteers for awards
- Maintain regular contact with volunteers, inviting them to social events and being the link between volunteers and Emmaus Hertfordshire
