Volunteers are an invaluable resource as they give us their time, dedication, skills and knowledge to support the work we do here at Emmaus Hertfordshire. Our volunteers work alongside staff and companions in a number of roles, front line retail jobs through to training and support of our companions. We have both public-facing and “behind-the-scenes” rolls available.
We can be flexible on the hours our volunteers work, and as well as helping to support a local charity, all volunteers receive lunch in our community and 20% off items in our shops.
We are looking for a Fundraising bid writing Volunteer. As a national charity we can bid for funding from various Government bodies and corporate partners and institutions. We would welcome any volunteer with experience in bid funding who can help us tell our story and help position us to qualify for funding awards.
