This Easter after the success of Operation Christmas, we’re collecting Easter Eggs to give out to families across Colchester struggling with the cost of living crisis.
Working alongside local grassroots charities we want to ensure that every child gets a treat this Easter. The Cost of Living is effecting so many families in and around Colchester and we want to help out in anyway that we can.
Brian Cook, our new CEO says “The response to our previous Operation Christmas campaign was amazing and we’re hoping that our supporters will come together to help out us and the local community again.”
If you’re able to donate a chocolate egg to help spread kindness and joy around Easter we would be so grateful. We were able to distribute an amazing amount of presents at Christmas time and we hope to match this support!
Getting involved in Operation Easter is simple, just pick up an extra Easter Egg or two on your food shop and bring them into our shops and we’ll distribute them out. Keep your eyes peeled on our social media to see where we send the eggs out to.
We will be accepting donations at our shop Emmaus Works on Osbourne Street or our Warehouse on Arthur Street until March 31st 2023.
