The Emmaus Mossley Secondhand Superstore will temporarily close from Thursday 5 November.
Our priority continues to be the wellbeing of our companions, volunteers, trustees, staff and the local community. In line with the latest COVID-19 guidance, from Thursday 5 November, our Secondhand Superstore will temporarily close and both shop donations and collection requests will be suspended.
If you already have a collection booked that falls in lockdown, we are in the process of contacting all those affected to make alternative arrangements. If you haven’t heard from us already, we will contact you as soon as possible.
We will continue to monitor official guidance carefully and keep in touch with you about any changes. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns via [email protected]
Thank you for your understanding and continued support during this uncertain time. It really does mean a lot to our community and we hope that you, your friends and family remain safe.
Following the temporary closure of the Emmaus Mossley Secondhand Superstore we will be working to sell more items online. We will offer these items with the option of delivery or collection at a specific time slot. Please keep a look out on our eBay Charity Store, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds for more details.
The majority of the funds we need to survive are generated through our social enterprise. This second national lockdown and another temporary closure of the Emmaus Mossley Secondhand Superstore poses a significant risk to our charity. We know it’s tough for everyone at the moment but any gift you can spare will help us get through this difficult time.
