Emmaus Mossley is a charity that supports people who have experienced homelessness by providing them with a home, companionship, tailored support and work opportunities.
Within the Emmaus Mossley community and social enterprise, we harness everyone’s potential to help them discover options for a better future. Our community is home for upto 26 people at any given time, with each person supported to build their confidence, self-esteem, skills and work experience to achieve their goals.
Homelessness support
Here at Emmaus Mossley, we provide people with a home, tailored support and opportunities to progress after homelessness. If you or someone you know is currently homeless or at risk of homelessness and looking for a fresh start, help may be available at Emmaus Mossley.
Reuse, recycling and upcycling
Within our social enterprise, we receive, process and sell a wide range of donated, refurbished and upcycled items. Emmaus companions and local volunteers help to run all aspects of our Secondhand Superstore, providing great value items and services to our local community.
Solidarity
Emmaus Mossley is a charity that gives back. Members of our community regularly undertake acts of solidarity, helping people, groups and causes in need. Helping others can help our companions feel rewarded, fulfilled and empowered.
