We’re looking for people to help stock the shelves in our social supermarket, Lucie’s Pantry, as well as serve people who have signed up. We’re looking for people with knowledge of food hygiene, customer service and healthy eating, who are sympathetic towards other people.

Key responsibilities include:

💚Serving members of Lucie’s Pantry
💚Helping with stock management and rotation
💚Assisting with weekly housekeeping
💚Ensuring good food hygiene standards
💚Helping with admin and record keeping

Skills required:

🤝Passion for helping people in need
🤝Knowledge of food hygiene standards
🤝 Experience of customer service
🤝 Teamwork and good people skills
🤝 Good knowledge of health and safety
🤝 Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a positive, can do attitude.

Time commitment:

⏰ We are looking for volunteers who can commit to at least one full day ideally 10-3pm Monday to Saturday, and would need to commit to 4-5 hours minimum per week. Volunteers would be working from our base on Fitzwarren Street in Pendleton.
