Emmaus Salford relies on continued support and kind donations to keep our shops stocked to generate an income to support our charity.
We always do our utmost to sell, recycle or otherwise get an income from everything given to us. We are always looking for donations of good-quality furniture and household items in particular.
We can accept drop-off donations at our shops during opening hours or for larger items, we offer a free collection service. Please do not leave items for donation outside any of our shops.
We are happy to accept most household items, and can collect larger items, but there are some exceptions for either legal or practical reasons. This includes soft furnishings without a fire label, safety items, baby equipment or any item that is not in a saleable condition. Check which items we can currently accept.
We are happy to come and have a look at items you would like to donate but, at the driver’s discretion, we can only accept products that are in a good saleable condition. For example, is it a product that you would be happy to give as a gift to a member of your family?
If you have good-quality furniture and larger items that you’d like to donate, please call 0161 848 7250 or complete our online collection request form. Our online form now includes the ability for you to upload images of the items you wish to donate.
If your child has outgrown their school uniform or shoes and the items are still in good condition, you can donate them to us for redistribution. Please give the items a good clean, bag or box them up and add labels marked ‘School Uniform Hub Donations’. You can drop items off at our Community Homestore during its opening hours.
We’re always very grateful for donations of non-perishable food, dairy products, baby items, home cleaning products and toiletries to support our Lucie’s Pantry members. You can drop items off at Lucie’s Pantry or our Community Homestore during our opening hours.
