Employees from The Royal Bank of Scotland have been giving back to the local community by volunteering at Emmaus Salford.

On Wednesday 23 November, a team of seven RBS employees from the CIB services department spent the day volunteering at Emmaus Salford. The team got stuck in to paint offices and rooms within our Fitzwarren Street community base.

The Royal Bank of Scotland has supported Emmaus Salford throughout our development but this was the first time that their staff had volunteered at our community building. We were very pleased to welcome the volunteers from RBS and they all worked well together to complete the work.

Emmaus Salford supports formerly homeless people by providing them with a stable home, meaningful work and support for as long as they need it. We run two social enterprises, on Fitzwarren Street and Seaford Road, selling great quality donated and upcycled furniture, household goods and vintage wares.
