Emmaus Hull and East Riding wish to be very clear about an incident occruing at a shop on Newland Avenue bearing our name.
Emmaus Hull and East Riding staff and companions were horrified to learn of a sexual assault which occurred at a shop on Newland Avenue bearing our name.
Prior to being made aware of the incident the perpetrator was not known to us. He has no association with Emmaus Hull and East Riding as the shop in question is operated and staffed by a third party organisation.
We are dismayed at the circumstances surrounding this matter and have made our concerns known to the organisation who run the shop. Our thoughts are with the victim who was subjected to such a traumatic incident and we utterly condemn the actions of the perpetrator.
