You can donate furniture, homewares, electrical items, clothes, toys and bric-a-brac to Emmaus Hull & East Riding. Drop off items at our charity shops or for larger items, request a collection.
We are happy to accept most household items but there are some exceptions for either legal or practical reasons. This includes soft furnishings without a fire label, safety items, baby equipment or any item that is not in a saleable condition.
We rely on your continued support and kind donations to keep us going and always do our utmost to sell, recycle or otherwise get an income from everything you give us.
All proceeds from the sale of your donated goods will be used to support formerly homeless people at The Orchard, our community home in Hull.
With the coming cold weather, our Outreach team urgently needs your support with donations of items that they can share with people experiencing street homelessness across the East Riding.
We are appealing for warm and waterproof clothing, sleeping bags, new men’s underwear, men’s XL clothing and non-perishable food such as crisps, biscuits, chocolate bars, breakfast bars and tinned food with a ring-pull.
Please mark donations for ‘Outreach’ and drop them off at any of our three charity shops.
