Linda Barker is opening our new shop on Whitefriargate on Thursday 23rd November.
She’ll be arriving around 4pm so make sure to be there early.
At 4pm Linda will be given a tour round the shop and will be introduced to Emmaus companions which will be followed by a Christmas Crafting Workshop where children and companions will make Christmas trees from recycled paperback books.
The shop will be formally opened by Linda Barker along with a Hunsley Primary School pupil at 5pm after which there will be a welcome speech and the cutting of the ribbon.
The event will be finished with the St Richards VC Academy Choir singing from their songbook
