On wednesday 8th February Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall visited our superstore and the companions residence on Lockwood Street. She had time to look around and chat to both companions and invited guests and brought a “goodie” bag from Highgrove for Emmaus. She also took time to chat to the rough sleeper team who run an innovative project supported financially by Hull City Council and East Riding Council which travels the region providing intervention support, advice and guidance to rough sleepers. Whilst here she unvieled a plaque to celebrate her visit.
