We are thrilled to announce the availability of three exciting volunteer roles here at Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire.
Each one is a chance for you to donate a little bit of time to help out our charity, plus a great opportunity to meet new people and maybe learn some new skills if you’d like to do so…
1. PAT Testing Volunteer: Do you have a passion for electronics and expertise in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)? Join our team and play a crucial role in preparing donated electrical appliances for resale in our Coventry charity shop. Your skills in checking, testing, and preparing second-hand electrical items for the shop floor, will help us provide affordable options to our customers and raise vital funds for our homelessness charity. 2. Assistant Van Crew Volunteer: Are you ready to hit the road for a meaningful cause? Our vans are the lifeline of our operations, collecting donations and delivering furniture to our second-hand charity shop on Red Lane. As an Assistant Van Crew member, you’ll work alongside our experienced drivers, helping to load and unload our van, as it drives around Coventry and the surrounding area. 3. Charity Shop Retail Assistant Volunteer: Join our warm and welcoming shop team and you’ll not only meet new people but also make a positive impact. From keeping things organised and tidy to ensuring products are presented beautifully, your efforts will help us create appealing displays and help us serve customers at our Emmaus charity shop on Red Lane in Coventry.
