Following the government’s recent proposed changes to the current lockdown measures, Emmaus Village Carlton has an updated timetable for gradual reopening…
After 15 weeks, we’re thrilled to be opening our shop doors once again. Emmaus Village Carlton sells furniture, clothing, upcycled goods, homeware, toys, books, music and electrical items from our Home Store, Boutique and Bric a brac shops. Drinks and food are available to takeaway or eat outside from the popular em’s Bistro.
We have carried out a rigorous risk assessment with new cleaning measures in place, perspex screens at our tills, and we’re asking customers to pay using contactless if at all possible.
If you have been spending a lot of time reorganizing during lockdown and would like to book an appointment to donate goods, we are now taking bookings. Please be advised you must still make an appointment to donate as per the previous reopenings. To book a drop-off appointment please call our reception on 01234 720826 Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am -4.30pm or Sunday 10am – 4pm; we’ll give you a timeslot to bring you goods to our site near Carlton. More information about what we’re able to accept is available here.
If the item/s are too large for your car, we collect unwanted quality furniture in areas of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire (within a 20 mile radius of our site). If you are unsure how close you are, please view our location on Google maps. Our collection booking line is 01234 720826, open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am -4.30pm or Sunday 10am – 4pm.
em’s Bistro remains open for takeaways and ready meals collections. From 14th April we will be able to serve you in our outdoor seating area and we will reopen our indoor seating from 19th May*.
*Whilst we are working towards these dates, these are subject to change if the government decides to change their guidance dates over the next few months.
In the meantime stay safe and we hope to welcome you all back on the dates outlined.
