A huge thank you to Dawsons, leading auctioneers of fine art, antiques and jewellery, who is supporting us by valuing and auctioning our donated items.

The Auctioneers & Valuers, based in London and Berkshire, have waived their seller’s fee to Emmaus, meaning that 100% of the sale price of auctioned items will go to us.

Dawsons has also pledged to help us maximise the value of donated items, whether these are single pieces, a collection or whole house contents.

Pete Liggins, Commercial Director at Dawsons said: “We are delighted to help Emmaus Oxford by offering our expertise in valuing and auctioning their donated items to ensure they maximise their income for their vital work.

“As well as helping Emmaus, we support some of the UK’s best loved charities to raise much needed funds.

“Working closely with our charity partners, our dedicated team of specialists value and auction fine art, antique furniture, paintings, decorative art, jewellery, watches, silver, glass and ceramics, motor vehicles and collectables that have been donated or bequeathed in a will to that particular charity.”

Laura Bristow, Fundraising Manager at Emmaus Oxford said: “It is wonderful to have the generous support of Dawsons Auctioneers and Valuers and the exciting opportunities this will bring to our charity.

“The antiques and collectibles market is extremely diverse and often requires a specialist eye to honestly appraise and value what we receive in donations. Dawsons’ experts will be a huge support to us in ensuring we achieve the correct value for items.”
