Our charity store has now reopened. If you wish to drop off donated items, please follow external signs to the back entrance of the store, during opening hours.
We are happy to accept most clothing, bric-a-brac, furniture & household items, but there are some exceptions for either legal or practical reasons. This includes soft furnishing without a fire label, safety items, baby equipment or any item that is not in a saleable condition. If you’re unsure – give us a call on 01865 763698.
Please see below for information on our free collection service for larger items.
If an item is too large to fit in your car, we offer free collection. You can book your collection online or give us a call on 01865 763698 and we’ll book in a time to collect. We can colllect most large household items including furniture & white goods (but unfortunately not soft furnishings without a fire label, safety items, or any item that is not in a saleable condition).
We collect from the following Oxfordshire postcodes: OX1, OX2, OX3, OX4, OX5, OX7, OX9, OX10, OX11, OX12, OX13, OX14, OX18, OX20, OX25, OX26, OX27, OX28, OX29, OX33, OX39, OX44 and OX49.
We’re unable to enter your home at the moment, so please make sure your items are at the front of your property during your appointment time – thank you.
If you are donating a large number of items we may need to make a charge, please see our house clearances page for more details.
Gift Aid increases the value of your donations and means charities can benefit even more at no extra cost to you.
If you are a UK taxpayer, kindly agree to Gift Aid whenever you make a donation either over the phone or when we come to collect. Emmaus Oxford will take care of the rest and reclaim the basic rate of tax on the resale price of your donation – that’s a whopping 25p for every £1 we make on the sale of your donated item. We are happy to provide further details on request and will also go through the detail with you at the point that you offer a donation.
