Emmaus provides a home, support & work opportunities for as long as someone needs it.
You can make a difference by donating, volunteering or visiting our shops.
We're grateful to the grads team from Cadent, for all their volunteering
A group of 16 trainee staff on Cadent’s graduate programme has once again visited our Hinckley-based homelessness charity.
National gas distribution firm Cadent, which until recently had its headquarters in Hinckley, selected Emmaus as its current charity partner. Teams across Cadent are working closely with Emmaus to support those experiencing homelessness through fundraising, volunteering, and knowledge sharing.
Cadent’s support means a lot. We were delighted to welcome back the Cadent grads, who have previously spent time volunteering with us.
The Cadent visitors spent many hours with us, helping us achieve so many things. They sorted through bags of donated clothes, redesigned part of our Emporium shop floor, sorted through bric-a-brac and even painted some fences.
Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland supports 16 people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. Our Hinckley-based charity provides a safe home for as long someone needs it, plus daily support, meaningful work, funded training, and the opportunity to gain new skills. The Emporium shop raises vital funds, as well as offering work experience and a sense of purpose to those being supported.
