Van Appeal: Help us buy a new charity van

Our van is the lifeblood of our Hinckley-based homelessness charity, but after more than 10 years it’s spending more time in the garage than on the road. Every donation helps us support people to move on and rebuild their lives.

Our charity empowers people who have experienced homelessness, or are at risk of it, to build skills and gain work experience. We provide tailored support, working alongside each person to help them take positive steps towards greater independence.

We currently support people at our site in Hinckley, providing a stable environment where people can focus on their next steps.

Work experience and skills

The people we support build skills, confidence and experience as part of everyday activities. This includes helping to run our Emporium charity shop, assisting with furniture collections and contributing to the day-to-day running of the site.

Support to move forward

Our team works alongside each person to understand their goals and what matters to them. We provide tailored support and training opportunities to help people build skills, grow in confidence and take positive steps forward.

We support people to move on to the next stage in their lives, helping them find accommodation and explore opportunities such as training or work, where this is right for them. Read first-hand accounts from people we’ve supported.
