Did you know you can ask for a free blue token every time you shop, and vote for local organisations to secure a share of the Tesco Stronger Starts fund?

We’re thrilled to have been selected for the latest Tesco Stronger Starts initiative. People of Hinckley and Barwell: from mid-January to the end of March 2024, please drop your tokens in our box!

The scheme, designed to support local projects, offers grant awards of up to £1,500, with three groups shortlisted in each area.

You can vote for Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland at Tesco and Tesco Express in Hinckley, as well as at the Barwell Moore Tesco Express store until the end of March.

We urge residents of Hinckley and Barwell to support our charity by voting in the Stronger Starts scheme whenever you shop at Tesco. Each blue token you pop in the box will make a difference. With your votes, we’ll be able to help more people who’ve faced homelessness to turn their lives around. Our charity provides a home, support, and a path to independence for individuals experiencing homelessness. Some stay for a short duration as they build confidence and skills, while others require longer-term support and can stay for as long as needed.

Tesco’s Stronger Starts, formerly known as Tesco Community Grants, has already allocated over £110 million to more than 60,000 projects across Britain, benefiting numerous communities.

Thanks for your support.
