One of the most important parts of the Emmaus ethos is ‘solidarity’. This means working to help someone less fortunate than yourself.
Every Emmaus in the UK (there are 33 across the country) donates money each year to Emmaus International’s work supporting Emmaus projects in poorer parts of the world.
This year, we were proud to be able donate £517.30 to the international cause, helping to tackle poverty around the world.
Emmaus International includes over 400 Emmaus groups, located in over 40 countries, working every day to help the most excluded and tackling the causes of poverty.
