We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve recently received a generous donation of a van from gas distribution firm Cadent.

Thanks to the support from Cadent, we now have a new van to assist us in collecting and delivering furniture to and from our Emporium charity shop in Hinckley.

We’re very pleased and grateful to Cadent for the new van, which is more efficient and reliable than the others we have in our fleet. It’s a wonderful gift, just in time for spring! Our familiar green vans are an essential part of our operation, ensuring we can generate the income necessary to provide housing for those who have faced homelessness.

The van donation to Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland is part of a two-year charity partnership between Cadent and Emmaus UK. Cadent has pledged to support Emmaus communities and groups across the UK, focusing their support on energy efficiency, easier warmth, fairer opportunities and greener societies.

We extend our sincere thanks to Cadent for their generosity and ongoing support.
