Local Freemasons lodge, St Simon & St Jude, has raised £1,121 for our homelessness charity Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland.
Our charity, based in Hinckley, offers support, accommodation, and employment opportunities for individuals who have experienced homelessness.
The donation was presented during a recent visit by the former Master of the Lodge, Worshipful Brother Adrian James. The St Simon & St Jude Lodge has been actively involved in community service for over 40 years and the donation is part of their ongoing efforts to help those in need.
Speaking on behalf of the lodge, Worshipful Brother Adrian James said, “We are delighted to be able to support Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland in their efforts to help those who are experiencing homelessness. The work they do is incredibly important, and we hope that this donation will make a difference in the lives of those they support.”
We are incredibly grateful to the St Simon and St Jude Masonic Lodge. It always means so much when local organizations reach out to support our charity’s work, and we really do appreciate their generosity. The money they donated will be used to help us to continue our work supporting people to move forward with their lives after experiencing homelessness.
