We are very happy to announce that our La Boutique charity shop (47 Castle Street, Hinckley) has now reopened (from 20 July) with a special clothing sale: only £1 for all clothing, shoes, bags and accessories.

Our La Boutique store offers a large range of quality second-hand clothing, as well as a selection of small furniture items, bric-a-brac, games, CDs and DVDs. Our popular craft haberdashery corner is a great place to browse upcycling textile supplies and creations – all raising vital funds for Emmaus.

Our new Boutique opening hours are:

Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 4pm
(closed Sunday)

Keeping everyone safe whilst shopping

Please avoid visiting our store if you or members of your household have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

In order to give everyone a pleasant, safe experience, we are limiting numbers of customers at any one time. We’d be grateful if customers avoided visiting in large groups. Please wear a face mask during your visit. Our changing rooms remain closed.

We have carried out a rigorous risk assessment with new cleaning measures in place and perspex screens at our till. We also request that customers pay with contactless if possible (minimum spend £5).

Donating items

Unfortunately we are unable to receive your donated items in our Boutique store. Our Emporium shop on Stockwell head is less than 1 minute’s walk (view a map to show the way) and is the location of our drop-off area for donated items. This is open during shop hours, two days a week: Tuesdays and Saturdays. These arrangements are to ensure we’re able to store your donated items safely for 72 hours, before we sort them ready for stocking.

If an item is too large to fit in your car, we offer a free collection from your home or business, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. You can book your collection online or give us a call on 01455 637587 to tell us about it and we’ll book in a time to collect on one of those three days.
