A big thank you shout out to the kind staff at the New Plough Inn, Hinckley!
The popular pub, on Leicester Road in Hinckley, recently donated the proceeds of their charity pub quiz, to Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland.
The special event raised an amazing £580, which was gifted to our Hinckley-based homelessness charity.
We attended the evening; our team of Emmaus staff, companions and volunteers did pretty well (see photo), and a nice evening was had by all.
It always means a lot when people from our local community recognise our charity’s efforts and help us out, so we hugely appreciate it – thanks again!
