Our van is the lifeblood of our Hinckley-based homelessness charity, but after more than 10 years it’s spending more time in the garage than on the road. Every donation helps us keep changing lives in Hinckley and beyond.
As the nights grow longer and the winter chill sets in, there’s no better time to immerse yourself in the warmth of a second-hand story from our Emporium‘s delightful book department.
This December (and all year round!), embrace the magic of literature and make your evenings a little brighter with the treasures awaiting you on our shelves. A special shout-out to Robert, one of our dedicated companions, who has worked tirelessly to give our book department a fabulous makeover. It’s now super organised, ensuring an enjoyable and easy browsing experience for all.
Location: The Emporium – Emmaus Charity Shop, Stockwell Head, Hinckley.
Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm.
Hardbacks: £1 each or 3 for £2
Paperbacks: 50p each or 3 for £1
Children’s Hardbacks: 50p each or 3 for £1
Children’s Soft/Thin books: 25p each or 5 for £1
