Recently our board of trustees spoke about their appreciation for how our charity has worked to get through the challenges of the past 18 months.
Each companion, volunteer and staff member was gifted a £15 Just Eat voucher as a thank you, enjoying a takeaway treat of their choice.
Speaking about the gesture, trustee Emily Smith said: “The Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland board wanted to extend our thanks to all employees, volunteers and companions for keeping the charity running so well during a very difficult 18 months. Please enjoy a takeaway on us!”
The board praised the team’s positive attitude and hard work, which have ensured our ability to continue to provide vital support, alongside running our charity shops.
