We recently settled in our third Ukrainian guest in partnership with Glasgow City Council’s Ukrainian Crisis Team
Emmaus Glasgow has welcomed three refugees as part of the UK Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme.
Our Ukrainian guests are being offered rent-free accommodation, in addition to other essentials, as part of Scotland’s response to people fleeing the war in Ukraine.
Director of Emmaus Glasgow Richard Allwood said: “We’re pleased to be able to help people from Ukraine and support people in this way.
“Our guests have settled in well and are being supported by the community.”
People displaced by the war in Ukraine are being helped by Emmaus organisations all over the world. To support Emmaus Europe’s work for people from Ukraine, please donate to Emmaus Europe here.
