Richard joined Emmaus in 2018 after working in the social housing sector in Glasgow for many years.

Mhairi enjoyed a career in social care before joining Emmaus Glasgow.
Empathy is vital to the role of community leader and Mhairi has a background in working in trauma-related roles. This is often central to people who are forced into homelessness.
“As the only Emmaus in Scotland, I think we do incredible work here. Some of the companions have been here long before me and care for their community and keep me right at times! The small staff team work incredibly hard and are willing to undertake any task they feel would benefit the community.
“I am continually humbled by the spirit of people, who face considerable life challenges and yet continue to be kind, trusting and determined human beings.”
Adrian joined Emmaus Glasgow in 2021 with an award-winning history in retail.
He worked for the Scottish Co-op for 20 years then Strathcarron Hospice, where he fundraised with the support of volunteers.
The Campsie Fells-fan is looking forward to expanding Emmaus Glasgow and working with companions and volunteers.
