Do you have skills in furniture restoration/upcycling?
Join our warm and welcoming team as an Upcycling, Repair and Restore Volunteer, where you’ll not only meet new people but also make a positive impact.
Our homelessness charity Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire is looking for volunteers to help upcycle, repair and restore donated items of furniture. Each piece will then be sold in our Emmaus charity shop in Coventry, to raise vital funds.
This role is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a creative touch to help breathe new life into old furniture. You’ll be working alongside companions (people being supported by Emmaus), in one of two locations in Coventry.
Upcycling, repair and restoration work usually takes place between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Saturday. There is no set time commitment and we are happy to be flexible to suit the individual.
Based at our Emmaus shop, 70 Red Lane, Coventry CV6 5EQ or our Warehouse, Bodmin Road, CV2 5BD
Please download the full role description and application form below. If you need help, please give Falishia a call on 02476 651094 / 07739323539.
If you have any questions, or you’re interested in volunteering but aren’t sure which role might suit you, please get in touch and we can have a chat to discuss how you could help – there are plenty of other opportunities.
