Earlier this week, we had a wonderful donation of four massive pallets full of non-perishable food.
The pallets contain some of the 1,000 food parcels which were made up recently at Bunzl’s conference, with generous help from 200 Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies colleagues.
Some of the donated food will be used in the kitchen at our community home, providing meals for the people we support. The rest will be distributed to local food banks. We regularly deliver food and essential items to Coventry food banks. Demand for their services is sadly greater than ever, so several times a week, we drive around with a van full of food, towels and toiletries – dropping off where people need it most.
