Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire is thrilled to extend a heartfelt thank you to the University of Warwick Table Tennis Club for their recent fundraiser.
This student group organised an all-day table tennis tournament, raising money for our charity.
The special event took place on Saturday 9 March at the Sports Hub on the university campus. It was the club’s flagship tournament of the year, and was kindly sponsored by athletic clothing and supplies brand BackStreet Company. Participants enjoyed free pizza, refreshments, a raffle and a ‘beat the robot’ challenge.
The tournament day raised £57 – every pound of which will help us continue to support people who have faced homelessness to rebuild their lives.
