On Saturday 17 June, we’re donating all of the proceeds from our charity shop to help international causes.

One of the most important parts of the Emmaus ethos is ‘solidarity’. This means working to help someone less fortunate than yourself. This can be very valuable for Emmaus companions as it is often key to helping to rebuild self-esteem, proving that everyone has the capacity to make a difference to the lives of others.

Every Emmaus in the UK holds a solidarity day each year to raise funds for Emmaus International’s work supporting Emmaus projects in poorer parts of the world. Emmaus International includes over 400 Emmaus groups, located in over 40 countries, working every day to help the most excluded and tackling the causes of poverty.

On Saturday 17 June 2023 all proceeds from every sale we make in our charity shop on Red Lane in Coventry, will go to Emmaus International.

We look forward to welcoming old and new shop customers, and to raising vital funds for those who need it most, around the world.
