We’re thrilled to have reopened our doors after a 15-week closure due to the Covid-19 shutdown.

Our charity, which helps people out of homelessness, is now welcoming customers back to our shop in Coventryl.

The Emmaus shop on Red Lane is open 10am – 4pm everyday excluding Sundays.

More than one-third of our charity’s income usually comes from the sale of donated items in the shop. For every week closed during lockdown, Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire lost valuable income that is used to provide accommodation, food, and support to help people rebuild their lives after being homeless.

As well as providing vital funds for our charity, the Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire shop provides work experience, training, and a sense of purpose for the people we support and is key in helping people regain their confidence and self-esteem.

The Emmaus shop is a fantastic resource for anyone in need of quality affordable items, anyone wanting to embark on an upcycling project or looking for quirky, vintage, and retro items, or for anyone who wants to shop responsibly, buy second-hand, and look after our environment.

We have followed advice from the Government and Charity Retail Association to implement measures to keep everyone safe. These include limiting the number of customers at any one time, installing markings and signs throughout the shop and a hand sanitiser station at the entrance.

The shop stocks a wide-range of good quality pre-loved items, including furniture, homeware and bric-a-brac.

We offer a free collection service from homes and businesses in the local area. You can book a collection online or give us a call on 024 7666 1466 to tell us about it and we’ll book in a time to collect.
